The Mühlweiher Litzelstetten is an artificially created retention basin with dimensions of approx. 200 X 30 m, which is surrounded by forest. The pond was used as a mill pond and a fish pond. Since 2015 the Mühlweiher was not used for commercial purposes anymore and is now a protected area. The water surface is covered with white water lilies (Nymphaea alba) and frogsweed (Luronium natans) in summer. The pond has no inlet, but is fed by the infiltrated rainwater from the surrounding area.
